You must be confused regarding which directories to submit.
Whether to submit to paid ones or free ones?
I would like to suggest you that its better to submit to paid directory as they are serious in promoting/establishing their sites.
Free directory owners just vanish away after installing their site, and neither approves any of your links.
Today I found a good SEO friendly general web directory dollar tree directory which offers paid submissions at real cheap rates. I recommend you to add your link to this quality directory.
BTW - I liked its design also.
